Job description & main responsibilities

You will:

  • Be the liaison between RheaVita and our manufacturing partner software team: provide directions and review the engineering process and results.
  • Specify the interfaces between RheaVita equipment and the MES-environments of our customers.
  • Assure that GMP requirements are met, such as conformation to 21CFR11.
  • Digital Twins are created for our systems. The primary goal is to support software testing. The software architect shall provide guidance. In later stages these digital twins should be made available for customer support, training and commercial purposes.
  • The controlled and continuous system of RheaVita will potentially produce much product data and machine data for different purposes. The software architect plays a role in achieving sufficient data reduction to render relevant information on product (qualification, GMP, release) and machine (preventive maintenance).

The person RheaVita is looking for:

  • Has a background in Software Engineering.
  • Has more than 5 years experience within the field of advanced production equipment.
  • Has experience in PLC-controlled systems.
  • Has experience in HMI-systems that match 21SFR11.
  • Has demonstrated managerial skills to lead software teams.
  • Is fluent in English, both written and orally – knowledge of another language is a plus.
  • Is a proficient user of Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Excel.
  • Likes to be challenged and challenge others on technical and organizational matter.
  • Is prepared to travel when necessary: manufacturing location in the Netherlands, subcontractors in Germany, testing location near Ghent, customers in Europe and US.
